 The Noida killing of 35 children and the women in the highly populated industrial area at the hands of the businessman and his servant is one of the most gruesome incidence in the history of our country. It is still not known whether these victims were sexually abused and murdered or there is some organ trade in this since it has been found during investigation that some of the torsos of victims are missing.
In any case, there appears to be total carelessness on the part of police who had failed to take cognisance of the complaints of the missing children and women lodged earlier by the nearby villagers. Even though the Government has now taken some action against the erring police men, there appears to be a total apathy on the part of the ministers. One of the U.P minister has even termed this episode as"small and routine " and further states that such incidences will go on happening.This attitude speaks of their casual approach towards such episodes.
What is more bothering is the involvement of educated business class in this matter. With such thing going around us , we feel, how far our children are safe in such surroundings? Is this The INDIA of our dreams that we want to build?Labels: Disaster, Education, labour |
